Use of cookies
First Element uses cookies for its websites. These cookies are necessary for the website to functionate properly. We use this information to make decisions about the design of our website. We also optimize the operation of the website. Cookies may also be used to display personalized offers on third-party websites, so called “tracking cookies”. You may see an offer of E-Maps products or services on another site. Even if you visit the website via multiple devices, that data will be linked with each other. We store the location, demography and website behavior anonymously for each website visitor. For this purpose, cookies from Google Analytics have been placed on our website. After 26 months, these data/cookies are automatically deleted.

Email
First Element creates newsletters for a number of products of First Element. If you have given permission for receiving our newsletter, we will send you news so you stay up-to-date regarding the products that you are interested in. We save your e-mail address and possibly your name, surname and organization. You can always unsubscribe by clicking on the unsubscribe link below an email or by sending an email to First Element, with the title “Unsubscribe Newsletter” to privacy@firstelement.nl.
Applications
First Element offers applications that are offered free of charge or for a fee. Some of these applications, including E-Maps, only work by using an user name and activation code. This data can be obtained via the website or the application itself. During the activation of the application, the unique device ID and the IP address are stored by First Element. This information can be used to track if the account is used for only one device (in accordance with license conditions). We only store that something is happening, not what the user enters. The application only stores that activity has taken place. This way we can prevent our services from being misused. We only note that something happens, not what the user enters. Address and location data are not stored.
Use of personal data by third parties
First Element does not allow the use of personal data by third parties (for commercial, charitable or ideal purposes). First Element takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. If you have the impression that your data is not secure or there are indications of abuse, please contact us at privacy@firstelement.nl.
Modifications
First Element reserves the right to make changes to the privacy policy and the terms of use. This privacy policy replaces any older version of this.
